Other investment - net acquisition of financial assets - monthly

Concept: Other investment is an account residual of the Financial account and is divided in assets and liabilities. Transactions not included in Direct investment, Portfolio investment, Financial derivatives, or reserve assets are registered as other investments. Asset and liability flows are classified mainly by: the instruments’ category; the residents’ institutional sectors; and by maturity.

Capital quotas in international organizations is an example of an event that affect this account.
